KOMP-ACT has just announced a new strategic investor, Pariter Partners. The large Italian investor syndicate intends to support the technological development and growth of the Swiss start-up. KOMP-ACT develops cost-effective electric actuators to reduce machinery energy consumption.

The green electric actuators developed by KOMP-ACT reduce energy consumption by up to 90%. “A crucial fact in a world context such as the current one, where the cost of raw materials and their availability experience great fluctuations” explains CEO and founder Salvatore De Benedictis.

Pariter Partners, an investment holding company focused on deep-tech and tech transfer opportunities, as well as coordinator of the main Italian syndicate network specialized in deep-tech, leads the investment by involving some Italian investors and following Next Humanity Venture's investment in KOMP- ACT. Pariter Partners’ investment has the specific objective of supporting the technological development and growth of KOMP-ACT.

"The KOMP-ACT solution developed by Salvatore De Benedictis together with his team demonstrates how the research and entrepreneurial spirit of our researchers are crucial in generating opportunities for strong discontinuity in technological evolution and represents for us what must be at the basis of 'innovation ”, underline Matteo Elli and Jari Ognibeni, founders of Pariter Partners. "This solution has all the characteristics to potentially be a game-changer in manufacturing, to make the automation industry increasingly advanced, efficient and sustainable in environmental and economic terms", add Elli and Ognibeni.

Renens based KOMP-ACT was founded in 2018 from the idea of the aerospace engineer Salvatore De Benedictis to help manufacturers of industrial machinery adopt new hybrid or all-electric solutions. This, thanks to the patent of innovative compact, efficient plug & play electric actuators, easy to install, use and maintain, characterized by a long life period (over 25 million cycles against 8-10 million of those on the market). A green solution, with which KOMP-ACT wants to reduce CO2 emissions by 50 million tons by 2040.
