In medical applications, there is a trend towards ever more precise and refined, and therefore expensive and complex, diagnostics, including personalized medicine. At the same time, there is an opposing trend towards more frequent, simpler and cheaper diagnostic sampling supported by portable or wearable sensors - Keynote by Adrian Weitnauer, Professor of Electrical Measurement Technology and Electromagnetic Compatibility at the OST Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences.

We are pleased to invite you to join this guest lecture, which is part of our CDHI Lecture Series Digital Health Forum. Registration is not required.

Hybrid Event at Switzerland Innovation Park Ost AG followed by an apéro and a pre-opening tour of their showroom.

Adrian Weitnauer has been Professor of Electrical Measurement Technology and Electromagnetic Compatibility at the OST Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences on the Buchs campus since 2012. In 1994, Adrian Weitnauer founded the engineering company Weitnauer Messtechnik, where he worked for customers for 18 years in the broad areas of measurement technology and signal processing. Adrian Weitnauer’s research work focuses on applications in measurement technology, signal processing and electromagnetic compatibility. These include the development of a longitudinal cutter for spinal surgery, blinking senor, PPG analysis and contactless ECG.
