The Nimagna video production software only requires a user’s webcam to create immersive online presentations. First adopters are already using the app to augment and enhance their webinars and online pitches and registration to join the beta test is open. The Nimagna software will be free to use for Swiss startups.

Video meetings have become part of everyday business and these have enabled companies to save on travel costs and contribute to the environment. However, the standard PowerPoint presentations have remained uninteresting, making video meetings even more boring. Leveraging their experience in broadcasting, serial entrepreneurs Stephan Würmlin Stadler and Christoph Niederberger have built Nimagna, a software solution designed to enhance storytelling by transforming any video-call meeting into a unique, professionally staged show.

Integrated into existing video meeting tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet as a plugin, the user adds their PowerPoint presentation to the Nimagna app, which then automatically creates a professional three-dimensional virtual environment for an enhanced and interactive presentation. The app uses a patent-pending artificial intelligence technology that makes it a camera operator, director and producer of professional TV production at once. In addition to putting the content in focus, the AI-assisted virtual production technology analyses the presenter’s gestures, body movement and eye gaze to determine the perfect angle, slide presentation, camera switching, and content focus during the presentation – just as the broadcasting crew would do but with standard webcams (including mobile phone cameras) and in almost any environment.

Following the launch of the beta version, the Nimagma team is gathering feedback as it gears up for the broader launch this autumn. More than 80 early adopters are already using the app. Interested users can simply sign-up on their webpage. While startups can get free access to the tool to deliver stunning pitches, the main customers for Nimagna are mid and large-sized companies that want to increase their sales and improve their brand image through their corporate online presentations and webinars.

“With Nimagna, more companies will be able to successfully scale their global businesses and more teams will have joyful and productive collaboration without the need to travel and physically meet. By giving Swiss startups free access to our professional video production tool, we can help them to shine in their pitches and create convincing, memorable impressions on investors and customers," explains Stephan.

Serial entrepreneurs with years of experience
The co-founders' skills for enhanced video production come from years of experience in the industry. After selling their first start-up LiberoVision to Vizrt, a leading TV graphics provider, the co-founders joined the parent company in 2013 where they continued to provide their expertise while enhancing their skills in broadcast media production and distribution. Stephan has also supported startups as a board member of Seervision and advisor to Tinamu Labs and Beekeeper.

After being among the Top 3 in the 2021  >>venture>> competition in the category ICT, Nimagna looks forward to the next milestone. The company is currently raising a seed round to launch the product and expand into the United States.
