CES 2024: Swiss delegation braces for Las Vegas

The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is just days away. Like every year, Swiss startups will line up their outstanding solutions for the global audience and get access to potential customers, partners and investors. With Innosuisse supporting 18 of the 30 attending startups, the delegation will be flagbearers of Switzerland’s innovation prowess.

From 9-12 January 2024, more than 130’000 visitors from over 150 countries will convene for the CES 2024 in Las Vegas, one of the most influential events in the world, where global innovators present their breakthrough technologies and new technology trends. More than 1000 startups and 3500 exhibitors will participate in the event while leveraging the platform to meet some of the world’s largest companies, potential customers, and investors to forge partnerships.

The swisstech Pavilion – co-organised by Presence Switzerland and Switzerland Global Enterprise with the support of digitalswitzerland, swissnex and Innosuisse – will host a total of 30 Swiss technology startups offering solutions spanning various industries. Innosuisse, which gives ambitious startups the opportunity to attend international trade fairs as exhibitors, received 26 applications, out of which it chose 18 outstanding startups. These will obtain support to participate in the trade fair to demonstrate their solutions in the Swisstech Pavilion.

Aegis Rider – augmented reality systems for the motorcycle industry and racetrack to visualise and consume 3D content.

AVAtronics – AI-enriched Wideband Active Noise Cancellation audio tech.

CSky – AI assistant that augments confidential conversations on local devices to ensure sensitive data remains inside board meetings, medical consultations or court hearing rooms.

Delivery Glider (Jedsy) - enables high speed and precision in medical supply with its drones that dock at the recipient’s window or balcony.

Dynavisual – developed the Dynavisual Pad that can be integrated into any type of textile to display logos, statements, images and messages real-time.

Grivix  – autonomous charging solutions for heavy-duty Electric Vehicles in automotive, mining, aviation, and marine.

Largo.ai - AI for video, audio, and text patterns for the recipes for successful entertainment scripts. 

Lighthouse Tech – smart fashion eyewear frame detects obstacles for the visually impaired.

machineMD – developed neo, a fully automated, non-invasive diagnostic device that measures eye and pupil movements and important biomarkers to diagnose neurological disorders. 

Nimagna – video production software that relies on a user’s webcam to create immersive online presentations. 

Nutrix – a high-tech nanosensor for glucose monitoring in saliva.

PatchXR – first no-code” and “in-situ” world-builder for music in the metaverse 

Perovskia Solar – printed customisable solar cells to OEMs to make everyday devices energy self-sufficient.

Safe-living by Sedimentum – contactless fall detectors with automatic alarms to enhance seniors’ safety at home. 

Stacksync – real-time bidirectional data synchronisation between business apps

Strong Network – secure web-based code development workspace platform while protecting customers’ source code.

Swistor – develops sustainable and durable high-energy density energy storage devices. 

Zoundream – developed technology that analyses baby cries to provide continuous non-invasive monitoring of infants’ health.

The Swisstech Pavilion will also host companies/organisations and startups that Innosuisse does not support. Twelve startups are part of this group:

Algorized – advanced sensing and perception solutions based on ultra-wideband Radar technology to enhance people’s health and safety.  

Avado – offers hardware and software solutions to make Ethereum staking available to all.

Copresence – digital avatar generation software to create photorealistic 3D avatars using just a smartphone. 

Flappie Technologies – smart pet (cat) door to prevent cats from bringing prey inside the house.

Flowit – is an AI-based human resources platform for people development, offering several functionalities and real-time results.

Revoltab – is a smart home room fragrance system comprising a smart diffuser control capsule, scents, and the Revoltab mobile app. 

Senbiosys – designs smart rings to give users a comprehensive overview of their health vitals.

S-Lux – develops light communication solutions using multiple light sources like LEDs, light bulbs, neon tubes, plasma and even natural sunlight to enhance wireless connectivity. 

Sparrow Analytics – developed mobile sensors attached to vehicles for real-time scanning and measuring various urban parameters. 

Superba AR - specialises in AR, Metaverse, web3, blockchain, and machine learning applications.

Ostloong – developed ski goggles SIRIUS with AR and AI technology that enhances the skiing experience by providing real-time information about the user’s performance and environment.

Sensoryx – develops accurate hand-tracking or specialised tools for enhanced precision and accuracy required for a truly immersive and realistic extended reality (XR) experience.
