Venture Day Basel presents 18 startups

Organised by Startup INVEST in collaboration with Plug and Play Basel and uptownBasel, Venture Day is a matchmaking event for deep tech startups to showcase and connect with a network of investors, companies and support organizations. The event program includes a keynote about the African startup ecosystem, startup pitches and two panel discussion with uptownBasel and experts froam abroad. Startup booths and virtual 1:1 meetings will allow for more interaction among attendees.

Among the 18 startups are seven from the Batch 0 of the Plug and Play Accelerator in Basel as presented in the Startupticker article (Allindex, Eyepick, InSilicoTrials, InterAx, Pipra, Scailyte, YoranImaging). During the event, startups will present a 3-minute pitch in four tracks – Autonomous Systems, Healthtech, ICT/Fintech and Sustainable Tech – followed by a question-and-answer session from the investors.

Incon.ai - uses computer vision and AI algorithms to turn smartphones, tablets, or AR headsets into tools that give intuitive instructions and real-time feedback to guide construction projects.

Inkvivo - developed a bioresorbable implant that will increase the therapeutic efficacy.

Muvon Therapeutics – regenerative therapy designed to address personalized skeletal muscle regeneration, targeting first stress urinary incontinence in both men and women.

Nimagna - makes it easy to produce and stream high-quality, professional media content delivering stunning and immersive TV-like experiences to video conferences and virtual events.

Resolute Robotics –  online coding platform for students (Grades 1-12) and tertiary institutions.

Stacksciences – helps companies secure their software factory by offering a Cloud solution for monitoring and evaluating all stages of deployment.

Vidi Virtual Discovery – creates VR apps, location-based VR experiences, multiplayer games, serious games, edutainment or interactive visualizations for your business.

Rxail – a health-tech platform that provides a digital infrastructure to pharmacies. Its product Rxscanner was designed to fight counterfeit medicines.
