Stacksync is the latest Swiss startup to join the Y Combinator. The EPFL spinoff led by Ruben Burdin (CEO) and Alexis Favre (CTO) has been gaining momentum lately closing a pre-seed round with YC, Lightbird VC and some angel investors. Powering currently the CRM integrations of its first batch of customers, the startup has ambitious plans.

Stacksync is off to a flying start this year. After making a strong impression on the Swiss Pavilion at CES in Las Vegas, the Vaud-based startup has just announced its entry into the prestigious Y Combinator, a major opportunity to accelerate its development. A few weeks ago, the company closed its pre-seed round with Lightbird VC and a number of angel investors.

Stacksync enables real-time, two-way synchronization between CRMs and databases. Customers like Aloen use Stacksync to deliver CRM integrations in a matter of days, reducing engineering time by 90%, from months to days. Contacted by Startupticker.ch, CEO and founder Ruben Burdin explains that Stacksync makes CRM data so portable that companies no longer need to use complicated APIs to interact with their CRM, they can simply query it from their database. Installation is code-free, and takes just 5 minutes. Stacksync is different because "it's the first tool that provides consistent data you can trust in real time," adds the CEO.

The Vaud-based startup is in the process of expanding its customer base and addressing many more use cases. Ruben Burdin explains enthusiastically, "We'll be launching broader support for more connectors such as Attio CRM, Pipedrive, Zendesk, Braze and more! Spoiler alert! We'll also soon be releasing additional performance enhancements that should synchronize CRM data faster than any other alternative on the market."

Leveraging the Y Combinator community

Speaking of the coming months, Stacksync plans to leverage the Y Combinator community of angel investors and venture capitalists to make the most of its ongoing seed round. The CEO invites angel investors in the CRM space to contact him if they are interested. Stacksync was founded in July 2022. Today, 4 people work for the startup in its offices in the EPFL Innovation Park.
