TieTalent has relaunched its recruitment platform to focus on tech talents and companies in the Swiss-French region. The startup has also raised CHF 250'000 in a pre-seed round from private investors to fund marketing activities and expand beyond the Romandie region.

Based in Geneva, TieTalent is a platform that matches companies with the best candidates in the Romandie region. The platform uses a mix of Artificial Intelligence and user psychometric data analysis together with Human Intelligence to connect companies to the best-vetted tech-talents instantly.

Once a candidate has registered on the platform, they are assessed by a TieTalent’s team of experts with over ten years if experience in the same field, and later recommended to the company. With a pool of pre-selected and recommended candidates that meet their hiring needs at their disposal, the company's recruitment process becomes faster and cheaper by 30% to 50% compared to conventional recruiting agencies.

Since its establishment in 2017, the platform was open to candidates and companies from all business fields. Today, however, TieTalent has relaunched itself, specializing in finding tech talents in IT, sales and digital marketing in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The platform has already registered thousands of candidates and has 30 companies, among them very large ones (names withheld).

Marc Trillou, Co-founder and CEO of TieTalent says, “We decided to change our focus because the majority of our candidates were looking for tech-based jobs mainly as Full-stack Developers, Software Engineers and Data Scientists, and companies for talents in the related fields. Besides, we wanted to have something more scalable. We have many mandates and several candidates that we want to continoue serving.”

TieTalent now strives to expand beyond the Romandie region by 2019, thanks to the closing of its pre-seed round of CHF250’000 with private investors. The funds will also be used for other business development projects including marketing activities, and platform and technology maintenance.

In addition to the relaunch and financing round, Trillou revealed that his team has grown from two employees to six employees in only five months. Moreover, the startup has benefited from various support programs including MassChallenge and has been recently accepted into the Innosuisse coaching program.
