Registration for the High-Tech Startup-Battle ends on 8 May. The finalists have the chance to pitch at Startupfair on July 2. The deadline of the International Create Challenge was extended to 11 May. And several other important competitions are open for application.
The Startup-Battle is part of the Startupfair. The finalists are selected in three rounds. The registration for the second round for Swiss high-tech start-ups ends midnight on 08.05.2015. Participating companies can win great prizes: a spot in the final of Startup-Battle held at Startupfair on July 2, free office space in Zurich for a year, a trip to one of the swissnex offices abroad, loads of promotion, presence in the media, a pitch-training and more. Startups can apply on the website of the Startupfair.
The goal of the 2015 International Create Challenge (ICC'2015) is to foster the creation of start-ups within the framework of Human & Media Computing. The ICC'2015 is a free of charge 3-week immersive technology transfer accelerator program giving entrepreneurs the unique opportunity to develop their original idea towards a "Minimum Viable Product" (e.g., demonstrator, product prototype) in collaboration with groups of entrepreneurs and researchers.
The ICC'2015 combines the availability of state-of-the-art technologies, cutting edge research, mentor-led coaching, and micro-seed investment. The global value of the endowments and awards (cash as well as in-kind rewards) amounts to more than 100'000 CHF. The ICC'2015 can accommodate up to 30 participants from all over the world, ideally split into 10 teams of 3 people.
