Making cycling safer

Velohub started with four students from ETH Zürich who were concerned about the safety of urban cyclists. The company was founded in April 2016 after the participation in a startup acceleration programme at the Swiss Start Up Factory. The firs product is called Blinkers and includes a ear blinker which indicates the direction of the turn, by blinking to the right or to the left. The front Blinker does the same from the front, together with a white head light. The rear blinker has a red braking light that indicates when the cyclist is decelerating, and finally, two lasers that project a laser perimeter to the ground, for other cars to know what area they need to respect to keep the cyclist safe. Velohub will start a crowdfunding campaign soon.
