Go Beyond insights on Angel Portfolio Returns 2018

Go Beyond’s 4th investor report shows an increase in returns on investment from CHF 15.7m to CHF18.9m in 2017 from 190 investment rounds. 85% of investors who have invested at least once have a breakeven or positive returns.

Former UBS manager to head Go Beyond Switzerland

Aino Hacklin has been named to fill the new position of General Manager Switzerland. The position was created to provide management and support to the investor groups and events in Zurich, Basel and Suisse Romande as well as to manage local deal sourcing, business development and strategic partnerships.

New startups have joined Go Beyond’s investment portfolio. In 2017, the Go Beyond community completed 16 investments in startups and in itself. Two exits of Swiss startups were also realised.

SICTIC Angel Club yields successful results

SICTIC is a business angel club aimed at uniting ICT start-ups with investors. This year the club has seen significant growth in all its activities. The number of SICTIC member grew to 171. They have invested in 17 start-ups that raised a total volume of CHF 20.1 million. Eight exits were registered.
