In their quest to make hybrid work a great experience for everyone, the UK software provider Common Surface and the Swiss workplace management company deskbird have decided to team up. Common Surface’s customers will transition to the deskbird solution. Sam Tucker, Common Surface’s CEO and co-founder, will join the deskbird team to ensure a smooth transition period.

At the beginning of 2023, Common Surface started looking into partnering with a larger and more established software provider to best serve their customers and work towards their vision. As deskbird offers a highly intuitive solution not only for hybrid scheduling and coordination, but also resource booking and workplace analysis, it was their natural first choice.

Together, they decided to move all operations to the deskbird app. As the Common Surface customers join the 1,000+ hybrid companies like Heineken, IHG, DC Thomson and Red Bull managing their workspaces with deskbird, they can benefit from improved functionality and enhanced support. In addition, Common Surface’s CEO and co-founder Sam Tucker will join the deskbird team to ensure a smooth transition period.

Sam Tucker underlines that “they are glad that with deskbird we have found a partner that shares our ultimate goal: creating a workspace experience that people love!” Ivan Cossu, CEO and co-founder at deskbird, says about the partnership: “We are beyond excited that Common Surface has decided to join forces with deskbird. This allows us to accelerate our growth in the UK and helps us on our journey in building the new global standard for workspace management. The UK and Ireland are already our second strongest market behind the DACH region. Next to Common Surfaces customers transitioning to the deskbird solution, we are also gaining valuable knowledge of the industry and can increase traction further.”
