Ticino based startup welcomes Ardian as strategic investor

Launched in 2015, ProduceShop has an innovative sales model that allows it to combine prestigious brands with its own brands through analytical tools that anticipate the demands of European customers. The platform offers a careful selection of products to make it easier for the user to choose online. The startup preselects the best products for value for money, making it easier for the customer to purchase furniture and garden items, among others.

The variety of products on the platform, their quality and design, has made the e-Shop a leading player in the sector with over 1.7 million customers across Europe. With a self-financed growth model, Produceshop tripled its turnover in less than three years by selling more than 50 per cent in competitive markets such as France, Germany and the UK.

To support its ambitions, the startup has signed a strategic partnership with Ardian Growth, a world-leading private investment house with US$96bn in assets managed or advised in Europe, the Americas and Asia. As part of the partnership, Ardian Growth has acquired a stake in Produceshop.
