Startups selected for second Swiss Venture Day Ticino

Swiss Venture Invest in cooperation with Centro Promozione Start-up is organizing the 2^nd edition of the Swiss Venture Day Ticino where 10 innovative Swiss High Tech startups from Ticino will make a regular or a short pitch at the USI Auditorium in Lugano on the 1 December 2016. Those start-ups will present their idea to investors and audience in a 6min no interruption pitch, 3 min of Q&A and 3 min feedback by the jury. All of them are qualified through the Start Cup Ticino 2016.

The selected startups are:

Chargee: is a brand new growing network of charging stations in Europe for electric mobility. Chargeee offers smart, connected charging points, a cloud based software and maintenance bundled as a single service. Retail businesses and public utilities can install one or more charging points for an all-inclusive monthly fee, giving a valuable service to their customers without owning assets or having to manage them.

Pipingonline: an e-procurement marketplace targeting the piping and steel industry. We provide buyers and suppliers a solid platform to collaborate and finalize deals online. To access our service, users pay a subscription fee.

Skypull: An airborne power system using a fully autonomous drone to generate electricity from altitude winds

Swissponic: The house of the future goes green with organic vegetables cultivation managed from your smartphone. Swissponic provides personal urban farming systems to move food production into people's homes. B2B solutions available for vertical farms and greenhouses.

iCareConnect: A simple and effective device which enabling modern families to connect in new ways.

Liberty: Give the possibility to people with mobility impairment to move with a 3D freedom during bed time

LI-FI: The world premiere of a wireless headset using “Li-Fi technology” for the transmission of the signal. This new technology (wire and uv visible-light communication) carries much more information and has been proposed as a solution to RF-bandwidth limitations.
