Quicker results, thanks to collaboration

Start-up Sintratec from Brugg specialises in 3D printers and the company has now opened up the whole Eastern European market, thanks to a sales partnership. It’s well known that those not afraid to enter into partnerships are quicker to reach their goal. This is the route that Zurich-based fintech start-up True Wealth has taken. Its online asset management system Digifolio has been launched by Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank for its customers. Digifolio is the result of the strategic partnership that the bank entered into with the young company a year ago.

News of new money this week: Goldmann Sachs is investing $35 million in the global software company beqom in Fribourg. And international health portal dacadoo, Lucerne biomedical company Monarch Bioimplants and medtech start-up Peripal, which specialises in dialysis equipment, also attracted fresh capital

As studies prove again this year, Switzerland is the most innovative country in the world. And the Swiss are proud of their innovations such as Swatch, the World Wide Web or the Swiss synonym for e-bikes – the flyer. The manufacturer of the flyer, Biketec, was taken over this week by the German Zweirad-Einkaufs-Genossenschaft. The flyer was invented in 1993 – nearly 25 years of success and suffering. Zurich-based company Starmind, which specialises in knowledge transfer, reports a great success: it has won one of the oldest advertising companies in the world, with 12,000 employees, as a customer.

An invitation to tender for a support program: Swiss Bluetec Bridge is looking for innovative solutions for water supply, drinking water and wastewater management. Good projects are supported by a loan of up to CHF 250,000.
