Qualysense closes third financing round
QualySense AG, is an EMPA-based start-up company that pioneers innovative grain and seed sorting technologies to set new quality standards in the food industry. It announces today that it has closed its third financing round and raised about CHF 1 Million of new equity mainly from its existing investors, which includes a selected number of well-known Swiss and international business angels.
The financing round will allow the start-up to complete pilot customer testing and set new quality standards in the grain world. QualySense is currently testing the QSorter Explorer with few large multinational companies. It is also working with the leading European organization that set the quality standards for the seed industry. QSorter Explorer enables the introduction of new quality metrics and new inspection methods. It expects the scientific and technical community to validating its results in the near future.
