The blockchain workflow-management software Proxeus, also known as the “WordPress of Blockchain” is now live on Ethereum. The startup has already applied the solution in multiple use cases including for the development of an anti-doping prototype for the International Testing Agency ahead of the 2020 Olympics.

Last year in July, Proxeus released the beta version of its blockchain workflow-management software Proxeus. The platform combines a powerful document automation tool with a series of blockchain functionalities to simplify the development of document-centred blockchain applications. Non-technical users may use the platform to develop blockchain projects that aim to link blockchain transaction to the production of documents as a means to increase user experience, comply with the regulations or to facilitate the integration of blockchain solutions with traditional systems.

During the beta, the startup developed several prototypes demonstrating how the framework can be applied to incorporate new businesses, issue course certificates, create donation receipts, certify assets, track shipments or make anti-doping processes more secure – as demonstrated through the anti-doping prototype developed for the International Testing Agency. In the project, Proxeus was used to prototype the digitization of therapeutic use exemption documents so that uploaded documents can not be forged ahead of the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Other prototypes were developed with the University of Basel, WWF Switzerland, Canton Zug, and IBM.

Antoine Verdon, CEO and Co-founder of Proxeus says, “These use cases were developed to inspire the community and demonstrate the possibilities offered by the Proxeussoftware. Some of them are being continued - in Zug there will, for example, be 100 companies registered using Proxeusuntil the end of the year. The functionality offered by Proxeus 1.0 will allow the community to recreate all of these use cases or create their own."

The platform is now live on Ethereum Livenet. Target users include; development agencies and consultants aiming to quickly prototype and test new ideas and decentralized business models, and academic institutions interested in making the decentralization and immutability aspects of blockchain visible to students and give them a framework to develop their ideas.
