100 apps competing for the first Swiss App Awards

On March 21st there will be the first Swiss App Awards at Hotel Marriott, Zürich. 100 Apps were already registered for the competition. Signing up to the award is possible until February 17.

The Swiss App Awards is a gathering of the many designers, developers and companies that contribute to excellence, innovation and achievement in the Swiss app development landscape.

The awards show is looking to celebrate the most outstanding apps within several categories with the only requirements that they have been developed or updated in 2011 and that they are owned by Swiss companies.

The seven award categories are:

Best Watch App
Best Web App
Best Game App
Best Bank App
Most Downloaded App
Best User Experience App
App of the Year

In each category there will be five nominees who will be revealed in the end of February. All nominees will get two tickets for the Award Show for free.

100 apps were already registered, but it is still possible to sign up your app to Swiss App Awards. Application Deadline is February 17, 2012.
