Emovo Care SA

Emovo Care SA is a ISO 13485 certified medical device company developing accessible robotic devices to bring movement home for people with motor impairments. The first product is a active orthosis that enables hemiparetic stroke patients to move their hand at home, and will be CE marked by 2022. The core technology behind the device was developed during a PhD at EPFL, where the research received worldwide media attention for its novel brain-computer interfaces. The startup is currently raising a $1M seed round closing July 2022, in order to obtain the CE mark of its first product and launch sales in Switzerland.
