Zupan's app and web interface

Zupan has unveiled its cutting-edge inventory counting software, with fourteen companies in Switzerland, and North America using it. This solution offers real-time synchronization, accurate counting, and deep analytics designed for superior inventory counting.

While the digital transition of warehouses has been sluggish, especially for SMEs, most still rely on outdated methods like manual counting using pen and paper. Such processes are error-prone and inefficient. Given the $9 trillion global inventory technological advancements, there is an urgent need for a proficient counting solution.

Zurich-based startup Zupan, developed Tally, an advanced inventory-counting software operable on any smartphone, boasting a 10x speed boost and unmatched accuracy. With Tally, voice commands and instant scanning ensure effortless inventory input. Its multi-warehouse compatibility allows users to monitor real-time stock and collate data efficiently. Plus, with seamless integration into established ERP systems, companies can optimize their supply chains while trimming expenses. Tally is accessible on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Zupan's web interface seamlessly integrates with major ERP systems like Quickbooks, Sage, and Dynamics 365 - with Netsuite, SAP, Business1, and Oracle coming soon. This integration ensures companies can effortlessly use Zupan's platform in tandem with their existing ERP systems, enhancing efficiency and user experience.

Since its public release in May this year, Zupan has attracted 14 customers from across Europe and North America. The startup is now laying the groundwork for global expansion, with AI at the forefront to further enhance counting accuracy, reducing manual intervention.

Behind Zupan is Adam Wainwright, who moved from Canada to Switzerland. Together with his co-founder Sunmin Park, who leads the strategic finance, sales and revenue operations, he founded Zupan in November 2022 and grew it to ten people, based at the Technopark in Zupan. The decision to move to Switzerland was fueled by the need to establish his next venture in a country with a strong startup ecosystem and infrastructure.  Zurich, as opposed to Singapore or Austin, Texas, offered an ideal environment to launch his company. He further credits the quality of the universities for helping Zupan find qualified employees to drive the company forward.
