John V. Roos, U.S. Ambassador in Japan, awarded the TEAJ Global Entrepreneurship Award to Mr. Nhat Vuong, a Swiss Entrepreneur living in Tokyo. His web-based portal system I-KIFU facilitates donations to charitable organizations.

We are living in a globalised world. An award given to a Swiss young entrepreneur illustrates this well known fact. Nhat Vuong, a Swiss Entrepreneur living in Tokyo, was awarded with the TEAJ Global Entrepreneurship Award.

The Entrepreneur Awards Japan (TEAJ) and the Entrepreneurship Mentoring Initiative are made possible by the joint efforts of the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the British Council, the MIT-Enterprise Forum Japan, IMPACT Japan, Ernst & Young, and the Japan Market Expansion Competition.

Nhat Vuong has founded I-KIFU. The web-based portal system facilitates donations to charitable organizations. Behind this philanthropy idea, donors will receive a motivational incentive by collecting Karma Points for each good action they make on the website.

In addition to receiving the awards, the TEAJ award winners will be matched with experienced entrepreneurs as mentors for a six-month collaboration designed to sharpen the entrepreneurs' management skills and business plans, as part of a program known as the Entrepreneurship Mentoring Initiative.
