The founders of Starmind are resigning from the board of directors and have elected Dr Bruno Glaus (50), Ralph Mogicato (49) and Balthasar Wicki (49) to the new Starmind board of directors. Pascal Kaufmann will focus on his duty as Starmind CEO, whereas Marc Vontobel will be in charge of product strategy and technology. Joined by Christopher Jarke, they make up the managing board of Starmind.

The strategic board of Starmind International AG gets top-class support: Dr Bruno Glaus, CEO of SeestattExperts, is elected president of the board, with Ralph Mogicato, former CEO of Solution Providers AG, and Balthasar Wicki, lawyer and experienced CEO completing the board of directors.

At the same time, the two founders and managing directors, Pascal Kaufmann and Marc Vontobel, resign their mandate in the board of directors, for the benefit of their operational activities. They make up the managing board of Starmind together with Christopher Jarke, who joined Starmin in June.

Before working for the start-up from Zurich, Christopher Jarke had leading positions in strategy and development in the field of Investment Banking in companies such as Sal. Oppenheim and Macquarie, a leading global provider of banking in Australia/Asia. Earlier, he worked for Accenture, one of the leading global management consulting companies, where he started off in process enhancement and IT projects. In more than 8 years that he worked there, he gained experience in various European projects – lastly as manager in the strategy department.

Dr Bruno Glaus is an expert on creating and implementing performance strategies, reorganizations and processes. He is CEO and expert of SeestattExperts, holds mandates in several boards of directors and is engaged in voluntary work in the social sector.

Ralph Mogicato (49) worked at Solution Providers, a leading management consulting company for financial services companies in Switzerland, during 15 years. He has had a major impact on their development and internationalization – not least as managing partner for the Swiss market and CEO of the company – before he became a member of the Starmind executive committee in the autumn of 2011. His expertise in project management, consulting and expansion is an important strategic cornerstone of Starmind.

Balthasar Wicki (49) is an expert for the development orchestration and execution of change strategies in the industry and service environment, as well as for internationalization projects and succession regulations. He works as consultant of production and high-tech companies and as start-up coach. Holding various management positions, he lived and worked in the Asian region for several years. In addition, as lawyer and mediator, he has valuable expertise in legal matters, forming the perfect completion of the Starmind board of directors.

Starmind, founded in 2010 in Switzerland, Zurich, has its roots in robotics and artificial intelligence. Self-Learning network algorithms allow employees to access internal company know-how in real-time. Questions are entered into the Starmind system and are then automatically forwarded to selected experts. All questions and solutions are documented, thus making employees’ know-how available building up a unique company brain.
