The startups Starmind, Bottneuro, GlycocEra and PriceHubble have attracted seasoned managers to their teams, assuming new roles as Chief Customer Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. Proptech startup PriceHubble has won a leading UK banker as an advisor and investor in the company.  

Ganesh V. Kaundinya has assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer at GlycoEra, a biotechnology company building a high-value pipeline of medicines based on deep expertise in glycobiology. Kaundinya has been a member of the GlycoEra AG Board of Directors since the company's inception in 2020, helping the team define corporate strategy and raise Series A capital of more than $49 million (CHF 45 million). Based on his deep industry expertise, Kaundinya will lead GlycoEra's efforts to build a high-value pipeline of novel therapeutics using its proprietary glycoengineering platform, known as CustomGlycan. Under his leadership, the company will broaden its footprint by establishing a presence in Boston and continuing to grow its team in Zurich.

Bottneuro – CTO
Julius Klaas has assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at Bottneuro AG, a provider of diagnosis and device based, non-invasive electric stimulation therapies for Alzheimer disease (AD). The company’s NENI® neuromodulation platform technology enables a fast and reliable validation of novel stimulation protocols targeting glial cells which play an important role in the progress of AD. Julius joined the team in November 2021 as one of our first employees, bringing project management and engineering expertise from a broad background. He will spearhead Bottmedical’s technological development as we prepare for our clinical trial.

Starmind - Chief Customer Officer
Starmind, an AI technology that connects employees to expert knowledge in real-time, appointed Ronan Kirby to the position of Chief Customer Officer. The seasoned C-Level sales and marketing leader has a history of building, scaling and transforming high-performance, go-to-market organizations in EMEA and beyond. In his new role, Kirby will spearhead management and support efforts for large enterprise clients such as Accenture, Bayer, Cognizant, PepsiCo R&D, the United Nations, and other multinational organizations. Kirby is the former President & General Manager, EMEA of leading IT and Security Management company, Kaseya. Previously, he served as Vice President of NGINX EMEA, which was acquired by F5 Networks, where he continued to lead the NGINX EMEA division within. NGINX is the heart of the modern web, powering most of the world’s busiest apps and sites—from Airbnb to Netflix to Uber. Kirby also led MOR Solutions and Story Foundry as Managing Director, after climbing the ranks at Red Hat for over a decade. Additionally, Kirby was a senior industry advisor at board level to clients of the European Bank (EBRD) for more than 15 years.

PriceHubble – advisor and investor, & Executive Chairman
Tony Prestedge, the former Deputy CEO of Santander UK and one of the UK’s most renowned retail bankers, has joined proptech startup PriceHubble as advisor and investor as of 1 May 2022, Prior to this role at Santander he spent 12 years at Nationwide, occupying a variety of roles including COO and Deputy CEO, and he also held the position of Managing Director of Home Finance at Barclays. Furthermore, he was seconded to the Department of Health and Social Care as the inaugural Chief Operating Officer of the NHS Test and Trace service, leading transformation planning and program management, technology, digital channel development, data analytics, and operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stefan Heitmann, Founder of PriceHubble and currently Chairman of the Board, will serve PriceHubble as Executive Chairman. In addition to Merger & Acquisition and investor relations, he will focus even more on PriceHubble’s international expansion strategy and work closely with Tony and the Executive Team to further increase the company’s international presence.
