Terra Quantum and NVIDIA accelerate the integration of hybrid quantum

Swiss startup Terra Quantum is one of the handful of forerunners relying on NVIDIA’s CUDA Quantum platform. By using its hybrid quantum algorithms delivered on NVIDIA GPUs, Terra Quantum will develop the world’s first set of quantum-accelerated applications.

Terra Quantum builds novel applications that leverage the strengths of both classical and quantum computing. It offers the solutions through three models Quantum as a Service (QaaS) models:  "Quantum Algorithms as a Service" to provide customers access to an extensive library of algorithms, such as hybrid quantum optimization and hybrid quantum neural networks, which can be used for solving complex logistics problems or pattern recognition Quantum Computing as a Service to provide its customers access to its proprietary high-performance simulated quantum processing units (QPU), and "Quantum Security as a Service," to offer its unique solutions for secure quantum and post-quantum communications worldwide.

Developing new quantum-based applications on the NVIDIA CUDA Quantum platform using its hybrid approach to quantum algorithms opens avenues in the quantum realm. Terra Quantum’s applications will operate on NVIDIA’s cutting-edge accelerated computing infrastructure, thus enhancing business performance and as native quantum hardware becomes more advanced in the future, these applications are expected to deliver even greater performance. Only a few companies have so far joined the NVIDIA community to expand CUDA Quantum.

NVIDIA’s infrastructure platform and GPUs are instrumental in enabling these applications to push the boundaries of data analytics. The NVIDIA CUDA Quantum platform, a first-of-its-kind, open-source platform for integrating and programming quantum processing units (QPUs), GPUs, and CPUs in one system, ensures efficient execution of both classical and quantum components of Terra Quantum’s applications, delivering maximum performance as an end-to-end solution.
