TechTour Growth: A showcase for Switzerland’s Deeptech prowess

Switzerland poses with the largest delegation of later stage startups selected to present their solutions in Leuven, Belgium during the TechTour Growth Deeptech program. With multiple investors and industry players in the audience, the event provides avenues for startups to secure capital and forge partnerships.

The TechTour Growth Deeptech program on 11 & 12 April 2024 gives later stage hardware and software solutions providers from across Europe the platform to present their solutions to the audience, giving them access to investors and strategic partners as well as the opportunity to raise funding. With more than 180 industry players awaited, the event features keynotes, fireside chats, panel discussions and pitching sessions for selected startups from across Europe. This year participating companies hail from Belgium, Germany, the UK, France, and Switzerland, which with nine startups presents one of the largest cohorts at the event. The startups develop a range of solutions spanning sectors like IoT, industrial automation, aerospace, chips, nanotech, electronics to medical devices.

The startups from Switzerland are:

ActLight, hardware – is a fabless company pioneering light sensing technology that could be integrated into many modern smart devices.

Flybotix, hardware – with its flagship product Asio, the startup offers a professional indoor inspection drone to operate in confined spaces and industrial environments.

Positrigo, hardware – developed a cost-effective and accessible brain positron emission tomography (PET) scanner called NeuroLF, to make functional brain imaging accessible to everyone. The solution allows the early detection of Alzheimer's disease.

Scrona, hardware – developed electrohydrodynamic printing technology capable of producing ultra-high resolution 3D printed parts and components. It holds the world record for the smallest ever printed color photo, which fits on the cross-section of a human hair.

Resistell, hardware – is a biotech company developing a technology platform for rapid antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) solutions to tackle the global antibiotic resistance challenge.

Rigitech, hardware – provides drone delivery solutions for efficient and sustainable last-mile logistics. Its flagship drone, the Eiger, is used mainly to transport medical samples.

NetGuardians, software – provides AI-powered fraud prevention and financial crime detection solutions for the banking and financial services industry. More than 100 financial institutions worldwide use the solution.

Ecorobotix, hardware – with its product Ara, the startup offers a smart sprayer for precise application of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides or fertilizers on row crops, pastures and lawns.

Creal, hardware – develops a unique light-field augmented reality (AR) display enabling a natural and healthy 3D visual experience.
