Swiss Technology Award 2012 launched

The Swiss Technology Award wil be held this year for the 25th time. Outstanding technological innovations in Switzerland are sought in three categories: «Inventors», «Start-up» and «Maturity Stage».

The Swiss Technology Award is more than just a trophy. Award-winning projects will receive an individually tailored package of benefits:

Applications are invited from innovative entrepreneurs, teams and companies, as well as start-ups from business and industry (in particular SMEs), teams from universities and universities of applied sciences, with technology-based business ideas which they are looking to translate into market success.

The awards will be presented as part of the Swiss Innovation Forum on the Novartis Campus in Basel. Distinguished speakers attending the Swiss Innovation Forum will include Michael J. Gelb, expert on innovation and creativity; Sahar Hashemi, Co-Founder Coffee Republic and Lukas Braunschweiler, CEO Sonova Holding AG. The Swiss Innovation Forum will take place on 8 November 2012.
