Survey

Through a short survey, five organizations seek to continue and clarify the work that began with the Startup Manifesto. Startups in Switzerland are invited to take the survey to help shape the frameworks and conditions for Swiss startups.

Over 600 startups and supporters signed the startup Manifesto that was presented to Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin earlier this year. Five organizations, Le Resseau, digitalswitzerland, Swiss Entrepreneurs Foundation, SEF4KMU and Netcomm Suisse have joined forces for the manifesto and have now created a short survey on the framework conditions in Switzerland as well as some general questions about the startup companies.

The survey highlights the ten requests that ought to be improved to create framework conditions that will make the Swiss startup scene more attractive for the startups. These requests range from financial aspects such as tax, investments/venture capital, to regulation which includes factors such as startup visa, consultation from startups when drafting laws that impact them. Through the survey, the respondents are required to rate the ten requests based on their significance for the startup.

Besides the ten items of the manifesto, another vital objective for the survey is to gain insights from the startups about their opinion regarding a startup association.

Upon completion, the collected data will help the initiative-organizations to confirm the proposals as close as possible to the startup’s daily concerns. The information will also help the committee together with the cantonal and federal authorities to prioritize the areas for improvement based on the startups’ ranking for improving the framework conditions for start-ups and entrepreneurship in Switzerland.

Startups from all over Switzerland are invited to participate in the short survey.
