Recent leadership change saw the promotion of startups' existing leaders and the appointment of new ones. For the companies notably Clever.care, ImmunOs Therapeutics and wefox, the change at the top indicates an important development step. However not all entrepreneurs continue their career in the startup space; ImagineCargo’s founder and CEO has joined DPD Switzerland, following the acquisition of the startup's technology.

Clever.care – Amy Wilson as Chief Executive Officer 
Clever.Care is a company that provides technology to home health care. It fosters collaborative care by
digitizing a patients care network. Following successful introduction in the Swiss market, the e-health company has appointed Amy Wilson to the position of CEO.  Wilson has successfully led the strategic development of Clever.Care in her role as VP Corporate Strategy. Her diverse background in psychology, consumer behavior, marketing, and business strategy, and her extensive experience in the health and care industries give her a breadth of knowledge and networks that contribute significantly to the vision of Clever.Care. In her new role, she will focus on the execution of pilot projects that include new stakeholder - physicians and pharmacies - and to raise funds that will enable us to extend our solution to best serve these new customers while adding additional value to the recipients of home care and their caregivers.

ImmunOs Therapeutics – Jeffrey Abbey as Chief Operating Officer 
In preparation for further growth and entry into clinical development, ImmunOs Therapeutics, a Swiss biotechnology company developing a new class of biologics for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases, has appointed Jeffrey Abbey as Chief Operating Officer. Abbey brings over twenty years of expertise in the development of innovative biopharmaceutical products. He has a strong track record in business development and capital markets transactions in the U.S. and Europe, including private and public placements, crossover funding, in- and out-licensing, and joint ventures. Most recently, he has been an independent consultant providing strategic advisory services to development stage European biotechnology companies.

Wefox - Peter Huber as Chief Insurance Officer
InsurTech wefox appoints Peter Huber (49) as Chief Insurance Officer (CIO). The top manager will be responsible for the expansion into life and health insurance as well as the sales strategy of the existing product portfolio. Previously, Peter Huber was CEO at Zurich International. With his many years of experience in the global insurance business, Huber will support wefox in its expansion into new country markets together with the recently appointed COO David Stachon.

Auxivo – Lijin Aryananda,  Chief Technology Officer  
ETH Zurich Spinoff Auxivo develops the next generation of lightweight exoskeletons to improve workers‘ lives with the products LiftSuit and Carrysuit. The startup has appointed Lijin Aryananda as CTO. Aryananda was previously worked at Wyss Zurich and held positions including senior technical project leader at Hocoma, a medical exoskeleton pioneer, CTO of QualySense AG, Managing Director of the NCCR Robotics. She holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At Auxivo, Aryananda will lead the development of current and future products to meet customer demands. 

Dotphoton – Yosef Akhtman, VP Strategy 
To accelerate Dotphoton’s vision of bringing scalability and reliability into large image data AI-based processing, the startup has assigned Yosef Akhtman the role of VP of Strategy. Dotphoton, with its image data compression technology with guaranteed quality preservation, will benefit from Akhtman’s entrepreneurial and leadership experience. He has been holding top executive positions since 2015 when he founded and led the Agtech startup Gamaya. He later founded gamma.earth before becoming Chief Scientist at ALTYN. 

Seba bank, new executives 
In line with its strategic growth priorities, SEBA Bank, a fully integrated, FINMA licensed digital assets banking platform is combining client-facing areas in the “Client and Technology Solutions” division, and the trading and product areas in the “Markets and Investment Solutions” division. To drive global growth, Fintech startup has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Mathias Schuetz to lead Client and Technology Solutions” division. The Markets and Investments Solutions division will be jointly led by Urs Bernegger and Ritesh Dutta.  Alena Nicolai Gwerder as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Committee following a successful term as Deputy CFO and Head of Finance.  

Gnubiotics – Yemi Adesokan, Chief Executive Officer 
Parallel to his current role as Chief Scientific Officer, Yemi Adesokan has taken over the chief executive position at Gnubiotics, the startup developing a platform to commercialize microbiome modulating products for the functional and medical nutrition markets with a new category of complex molecules: glycans. Adesokan brings a wealth of expertise and leadership skills gained during the past five years at Gnubiotics. 

From ImagineCargo to DPD  Switzerland
Following the sale of imagineCargo's technology to parcel delivery company DPD Switzerland, Imagine Cargo’s former Chief Executive Officer Ville Heimgartner is assuming a role as Innovation and CSR Manager at DPD Switzerland to further foster the mission of green and innovative delivery solutions. Heimgartner is an entrepreneur and innovator with practical experience in Industry and consulting.
