The latest list of the 100 Swiss Digital Shapers from Bilanz, Handelszeitung, PME and Digitalswitzerland includes well-known people as well as new discoveries. Founders make up a large part of the selected people.
The list of the 100 most influential digital shapers in Switzerland was compiled for the eighth time. The density of people with a start-up connection is striking. Start-up founders and other supporters are shaping digitalisation in this country in a remarkable breadth. Across the majority of categories, numerous thought leaders are represented who have founded a startup in sectors such as robotics, sustainability or medtech. Start-ups now account for more than half of all those elected. These include founders of very young spin-off projects such as Julia Carpenter from Apheros as well as seasoned entrepreneurs for example Judith Häberli from Urban Connect.
Artificial Intelligence plays a prominent role in the list - and not only in the category "AI Generators". But the next technology of the future, quantum computing, is also represented. Alexandra Beckstein, CEO and Co-Founder of QAI Ventures, appears in the Incubators category.
The picture is equally impressive when it comes to the new entries for the Hall of Fame: those who have already been selected three times by the jury as one of the 100 most influential drivers of digital transformation are listed there. This year, the start-up density is also high here: over 15 people with a start-up background are part of the Hall of Fame. Among them are Judith Ellens, co-founder of Eaternity, Scandit co-founder Samuel Müller and Tej Tadi, founder and CEO of MindMaze.
