Silentsoft, based in Morges, has become a European leader in telemetry for bulk product inventory monitoring and building energy management. After several successful pilots carried out in Europe Shell awarded a global contract to the young company.

Silentsoft and Shell developed a unique IT interface to transmit telemetry data directly to Shell’s enterprise replenishment planning & delivery system. This integrated solution enables Shell to offer a seamless Vendor Managed Inventory service known as ‘Touchless VMI’ to its commercial customers.

“Touchless VMI is an important component of the overall Customer Value Proposition which Shell Global Commercial Fuels can deliver and we look forward to rolling it out with Silentsoft” said Graham Marshall, Shell Global Commercial Fuels Business Development.

“We are honored to have been selected by Shell Fuels as their global partner for the Vendor Managed Inventory service. We look forward to being an integral part of their future success” said Charles Upchurch, Silentsoft CEO.
