Slush 2019

This week one of the biggest European tech events will happen in Helsinki. Innosuisse is supporting 17 startups to represent Switzerland while using the opportunity to meet investors, forge partnerships and grow their network.

After a one-year break due to Covid-19, Slush will again take place physically in Helsinki with 3,200 startup founders and operators and 1,500 investors expected to join. In total, the conference will host 8,000 attendees. Under the theme ‘the entrepreneurial renaissance’, Slush 2021 will spark a discussion on how entrepreneurship should change. Top-level speakers from companies such as Tinder, Calm, and Miro will take the stage. Overall, 150 speakers will address the audience. The conference is special in several ways, for example, each speaker dedicates at least one hour of their time to mentoring startups

A delegation from Switzerland will attend the event to showcase the country's innovation while putting Swiss deeptech startups in the spotlight. Innosuisse is supporting the participation of 17 startups as exhibitors and visitors. Under the umbrella of #swisstech@SLUSH 2021, startups will have a joint stand as a point of contact and a platform to pitch to visitors. In collaboration with the Swiss Embassy in Finland, Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), Presence Switzerland (PRS) and the other #swisstech partners, side events with selected start-up investors as well as tailor-made business support are provided to maximize the impact of the Swiss participants at SLUSH.
