Bookbedder expanding in Spain

The hotel association (AEHCOS - www.aehcos.es) invited BookBedder to their offices in Torremolinos to present BookBedder to management, and a decision was quickly made to propose BookBedder to all hotels in the Costa del Sol as a means of diversifying their online distribution channels.  BookBedder is a collaborative hotel booking website that offers private prices lower than the public prices found on major booking sites.

The hotels of the region will also be given priority in participating in BookBedder's crowdfunding campaign, which allows hotels to actively support the BookBedder initiative so that hotels have an own online booking site to call their own.

"BookBedder was of great interest to the member hoteliers of the management committee, all of whom made a point of coming to learn more about BookBedder despite being in the middle of peak tourist season.  BookBedder is a fresh approach to the classic OTA (Online Travel Agency): a hotel booking site that actually takes into consideration the needs of hoteliers" stated Jose Carlos Escribano De Garaizabal, President of the association.

The Spanish hotel market has reacted favourably to the arrival of BookBedder and its equitable approach to online hotel booking.  By the end of 2015 the hoteliers of the Costa del Sol will be able to invite their guests to use BookBedder for their hotel reservations as an alternative to the major booking sites.
