Tickets go on sale next week for the 5th edition of Swiss Mobicamp which returns to Bern on the 19th Nov. 10 Swiss start-ups will have an exclusive opportunity to participate in a ‘lunch & learn’ session with Jussi Mäkinen who is responsible for Rovio’s global product & creative marketing.

Since it’s inception in early 2012 the event, presented by The Coul Room and hosted by Swisscom has firmly established itself as THE premier gathering of all of those involved in the Swiss mobile ecosystem.

This year the event explores the explosion of screens (from SmartWatch to TV to the ConnectedCar) and how the traditional app ecosystem is now being reproduced outside the confines of the smartphone – and the opportunities this presents. Confirmed speakers include The North Face, Opera, Vision Mobile, Barclays, Conversion.com & Swisscom.

With over 2 billion downloads to date, Angry Birds from Rovio has become one of the biggest app success stories ever. One of the speakers, Jussi Mäkinen is responsible for Rovio’s global product & creative marketing across all games and products including Angry Birds 2 & The Angry Birds movie.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Pro Helvetia, up to 10 Swiss start-ups involved in gaming and entertainment will have an exclusive opportunity to participate in a ‘lunch & learn’ session with Jussi at Mobicamp. If you’re interested in applying for one of these coveted spots please email info@mobicamp.ch with your details.

Further information can be found by visiting mobicamp.ch or by following @thecoulroom on Twitter. Tickets, which adopt the ‘airline pricing’ model for the first time go on sale early next week.

This year’s Mobicamp would not be possible without the support of sponsors such as Swisscom, CTI Invest, Swiss & Global Enterprise and Pro Helvetia. If you’d like to add your name to this list please email martin@thecoulroom.com for more details.
