Sensimed receives the “Local to Global” Award by PwC

At the occasion of the “Local to Global” Expo inauguration by PwC’s Accelerator on March 27 in Luxembourg, Sensimed received the “Coup de coeur” award as a result of a rigorous evaluation conducted by an audience of over 100 private and institutional investors. 25 companies were carefully chosen by PwC from Europe and the USA during an eight-month selection process based on technical innovation, total addressable market size and management quality. “In addition to recognizing the accomplishments that Sensimed made over the last years regarding the development of its international distribution channel, this award recognition also permits to increase Sensimed’s visibility among investors as an innovative and growing company just as we are starting our CHF20M Series C.” says Jean-Marc Wismer, CEO of Sensimed.

PwC’s Accelerator was founded by PwC Luxembourg as the first European platform designed to support high-tech companies that have evolved beyond the start-up stage, with turnover ranging between EUR 1 and 5 million, established products and clients on their domestic markets, and a technological base. By providing appropriate solutions, PwC’s Accelerator enables these companies to expand their local or national presence to a global level. PwC’s Accelerator is organized twice a year and will give the opportunity to bring together high tech business and the European investor community.
