Patrick Strumpf has been appointed the new CEO of Haelixa, the leading provider of physical traceability solutions to increase brand attractivity and customer trust. Urban Sympheny appoints Franziska Steidel-Sailer CEO
Sympheny, which provides software to optimize energy supply solutions for buildings, helps energy planners to find the best design for their energy systems from over 1000 options provided in the solution. Entering a new growth phase, the company has welcomed Franziska Steidle-Sailer as its CEO. Franziska was formerly the business development manager at ewz, Elektrizitätswerk der Stadt Zürich, and strategic market development manager at AQUON, a startup focused on green hydrogen energy systems. Franziska will lead the commercial scaling of our company, drawing from her startup experience and comprehensive understanding of Sympheny’s market and customers. Sympheny’s founders, Andrew Bollinger and Julien Marquant, will continue in leading roles, with enhanced emphasis on product and partnership development and technology innovation.
Spacetek leadership changes with new CEO
Spacetek Technology designs and builds time-of-flight mass spectrometers (TOF-MS), bringing space technology to Earth. Its products redefine real-time analysis of gases and enable higher process efficiency with lower scrap rates and, therefore, better overall yields. With the growth of its team to 20 people, the startup appointed Maximilian P. Rothenberger to the position of CEO, in addition to his sales tasks as Chief Commercial Officer / Head of Sales. He has a rich background in business development especially in semiconductor end-markets. Maximilian will succeed Jürg Jost who will now focus on the technical aspects of professionalising the R&D and assembly teams as Chief Technology Officer (CTO); Michael Gabi has been promoted to Chief Product Officer (CPO) and will continue to drive product innovation for the company while Lukas Hofer will take over the role of Master Inventor and Head of Research and Development.
LatticeFlow welcomes SVP and General Manager for North America
Following its strategic expansion into the US market last year in November, LatticeFlow AI, the leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform for enabling enterprises to build performant, safe, and trustworthy AI systems at scale has appointed Tom Ulrich as Senior Vice President and General Manager for North America. With over 25 years of experience, Tom has proven expertise in building and developing world-class sales teams for high-growth enterprise SaaS companies. More recently, Tom served as Vice President of Sales, Financial Services at C3.AI, where he played a key role in launching the company’s AI banking business which led to a successful IPO in 2019. In his new role, he will accelerate the startup’s growth by identifying strategic business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
In the support ecosystem, Abionic’s founder and former CEO Nicolas Durad will assume the role of Director of Fondation Campus Biotech Geneva (FCBG) effective March 1st. With an extensive background in nanotechnologies applied to life sciences, Dr Durand brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will undoubtedly steer us towards continued success and growth. In 2019, he became a Board Member of Economiesuisse and of the Chambre Vaudoise du Commerce et de l’Industrie and later a Member of the Board Committee at economiesuisse. In his additional role as Director, he will support the foundation in continuing its mission and work in supporting the research teams and start-ups at Campus Biotech. “I'm looking forward to this new challenge and to helping promote and develop this center of excellence in Neuroscience and Biotechnology,” he said in his LinkedIn post. “I'm proud of what we've achieved at Abionic and after 14 years of an exciting ride, it was time to hand over to a new CEO who will take the company to the next phase”, he added.
