Prix Strategis 2021 Top 5 revealed

For several months, the students of the HEC faculty of the University of Lausanne participating in the Fidag Consulting Award have been consulting the 8 semi-finalist start-ups. On the basis of this audit work, they wrote a report and presented it to the Jury on Tuesday evening to support it with its decision. After an intense discussion, the Prix Strategis Jury has chosen to honor Backbone (on- demand service for professional visuals), Bloom Biorenewables (chemicals and fuels produced from plant material), Dagsmejan (innovative sleepwear), Neurosoft Bioelectronics (new generation of neural implants) and Volumina Medical (injectable biomaterials for the reconstruction of human tissues). These 5 finalists were selected on the criteria of innoation quality, growth potential and realization. 

Unfortunately for AgroSustain (biological fungicides), BLP Digital (automatic information extraction from documents using AI) and Synthara (chips made for AI) the Prix Strategis contest stops at this stage. However, HEC Espace Entreprise would like to congratulate them for having reached the semi-finalist stage, which demonstrates their promising potential in the eyes of the Jury and would like to thank them warmly for their participation. 

The winning start-up of the Prix Strategis 2021 will be selected during the final meeting of the Jury on April 20th and will be unveiled during the Closing Ceremony on May 12th, 2021 (date subject to sanitary restrictions in effect) at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. 

The Prix Strategis is a yearly startup award that provides, more than its 50kCHF prize money, great exposure and a chance to confront their project to a chosen Jury of renowned experts and people of the Swiss entrepreneurial landscape.
