Pro Helvetia’s Initiative, SwissGames is looking for 15 Swiss game studios that will show case their projects to an international audience at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. Application deadline expires on 3 November.
GDC is the world’s largest event dedicated to interactive entertainment and the leading industry trade fair event for promotion, networking and matchmaking. The event brings together over 26,000 attendees comprising programmers, artists, producers, game designers, and business decision-makers who all gather to exchange ideas and shape the future of the game industry. The upcoming GDC event will take place from 18th to 22nd March 2019.
Next year again, Pro Helvetia and swissnex Francisco through their initiative SWISSGAMES@GDC will bring a delegation of the most promising Swiss game studios to GDC. Swiss Games studios and indies that want to present their projects on the international stage and reach out to international markets may now submit their application, no later than 3rd November. The participation includes an exhibition space at GDC Play and Game Connection, business coaching before the event and a travel stipend.
Additionally, Swissnex San Francisco has organized a wide array of events and support at other events that will take place parallel to GDC, such as Game Connection America, European Game Showcase, Courage XL among others.
