The Business Angels Switzerland (BAS) committee announces Adrienne Perramond as the new President. Perramond succeeds Carole Ackermann who led the association for after 8 years. Additionally, Johann Schlieper takes over the vice-presidency seat in Zürich.

Adrienne Perramond is the first person to join the BAS committee from Suisse romande. Perramond has been a BAS member since 2014. In 2016, she became the president of the Suisse romande section and now the president for both sections thus replacing Carole Ackermann.

Perramond supports startup companies in organizational changes. She has worked in marketing positions in consumer goods companies, and in the watchmaking industry. In 1997, she founded Transfer Solutions, a relocation service agency in Neuchâtel, which she sold in 2001. After spending thirteen years in local politics, she is now active as an angel investor.

In her new role, Perramond has ambitious development plans for BAS. Some of the plans involve creating a stronger bond between the two sectors of BAS in Zurich and the Swiss Romande. Additionally, Perramond will support BAS to forge collaboration with other business angel groups that are to increase BAS’ commitment and to create a greater impact for the Swiss startup ecosystem. Supporting startups in raising funds, remains at the core of BAS activities.

BAS acknowledges Carole Ackermann’s devotion and engagement in BAS activities during the past eight years.

In addition to Perramond’s appointment, BAS has elected Johan Schlieper as its Vice-president, inaugurating a new role in the functioning of BAS. Schlieper is an active investor in startups with a strong focus on market-driven innovations and has founded three startups himself in the last ten years. He has an automotive background with Mercedes Benz and BMW. He is the CEO of Zollikonsult in Zurich and a lecturer at the University of Lucerne and at the St. Gallen Management Institute.
