Alp ICT invites the most innovative ICT startups in Switzerland to submit their applications for Alp ICT Venture Night'14 at the Lift conference. Alp ICT Venture Night offers a range of exclusive services and attractive prizes for the development of the most promising startups.
More than 600 people attended the Alp ICT Venture Night in 2013 and nearly 4,000 watched the video of the event online. In addition start-ups at the event profit from an extensive media coverage including the presence of cash nouvo (RTS) and 80 journalists and bloggers. Last but not least the young companies have the chance to win awards promoting the internationalization of their business.
The Venture Night is a part of Lift14. Lift is one of Europe's leading technology and innovation events exploring the business and social implications of new technology. Lift's unique format allows for a rich experience where participants mingle in a dynamic and informal environment. Every year over 1,000 participants from 30 countries are attending Lift.
At the Venture Night 8-10 startup have a "teaser" of 1min. The public will select the five best startups which can present their company in a three minute pitch. A jury of experts will decide which companies win the three main awards. In addition one start-up will win the public choice award.
The awards:
1st prize: "Venture Trip", a week in China (especially Hong Kong and Shenzhen) for two persons with a total value of CHF 10,000 - offered by CTI Startup with the support of Swissnex. This trip will allow the winner to discover a new working environment, to interact with Chinese / Asian entrepreneurs and find partners to boost its business in this region. As a part of this "Venture Trip", Switzerland Global Enterprise also offers a service for finding business partners and organizing business meetings.
2nd prize: two free tickets for lift15 conferences offered by Lift
3rd prize: one free ticket by Alp ICT for Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona
Public Choice Award: the winning start-up will benefit from a day's business coaching with Accenture.
The startups will receive support from certified coaches to develop the pitches prior to the competition.
