Opportunities for Swiss start-ups at the world’s largest mobile industry exhibition
Five start-ups will be selected for the new Venture Leader Mobile program. They will have the opportunity to participate in the Mobile Word Congress 2019, the worldwide most important congress in the fast-growing mobile communication sector, and an investor pitch session at the SwissNight in Barcelona. The 2018 edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona was the busiest on record and brought together industry players from across the mobile ecosystem met to do business, collaborate and set out a positive vision for the future. Over 108,000 delegates from over 200 countries had passed through the doors. The world’s largest mobile industry exhibition hosted more than 2‘300 companies.
The next MWC will take place in Barcelona from 25-28 February 2019. The industry focus of the Mobile World Congress includes App/Mobile Services, IoT, Network Technology, Big Data/Analytics, Device Hardware, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Services, Marketing/Advertising, Enterprise & Business IT and Smart Cities.
Swiss start-ups who want to join the fair plus its attractive side-events have several opportunities.
For the first time Venturelab is organising the Venture Leaders Mobile, an intense dive into the mobile scene and an opportunity for personal development, thanks to a program comprising:
- Access to the Mobile World Congress and to the hospitality zone for meetings at the Swiss Pavilion
