Global Entrepreneurship Week starts on 17 November

During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities. 

Hotspots Zurich and Berne
The traditional hot spots of the week in Switzerland have again a lot to offer. There will be several events in Berne including the Failure Assembly on Friday followed by a Startup Weekend from 21 to 23 November. In Zurich will again a Startup Day be held, in the last years huge and inspiring events. And there will be a lot of other events all over Switzerland, from St. Gallen to Geneva and from Winterthur to Lugano. EPFL with an intense 3-day programme
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Vice Presidency for Innovation and Technology Transfer joins the Global Entrepreneurship Week and organizes its first edition of the Entrepreneurship Days (#EPFLED).

Aware of the challenges in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, EPFLED’s main mission is to promote entrepreneurship; to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs to get involved in company creation, to provide the necessary tools to create innovative projects, and to focus on facilitating dialogue between established and future entrepreneurs.
