Zippsafe lockers

At the end of April 2020, Zippsafe successfully completed a financing round of CHF 3 million. Founded in 2016 and with offices in Zurich and Budapest, the company has developed the most popular space-saving locker room solution.

Since last year's market entry in Germany, the company has been able to acquire numerous renowned customers, such as Berlin's Charité Hospital, Städtisches Klinikum Stuttgart, Städtisches Krankenhaus Karlsruhe, Helios Klinik Erfurt or Esslingen Hospital. In addition to the upcoming geographical expansion with market entries in Austria, France and the Benelux countries, Zippsafe is also planning to focus on a further development of their products. In the software area in particular, major releases relating to Smart Locker Management are expected this year.

Carlo Loderer, CEO of Zippsafe AG, is convinced; “The trend towards a responsible use of space is becoming increasingly more popular. Especially in today's world, where medical facilities around the globeare reaching the limits of their capacity, it is becoming clear how important efficient use of space can be. Zippsafe can help to use the available space more intelligently and profitably. Thanks to our flexible closing pockets, customers in changing rooms can save up to 70 percent of space. This frees up valuable space, often hundreds of square meters per house, which can be better used for patient care or the storage of medical equipment, for example.”

Merely highlighting the space efficiency of Zippsafe does not do justice to the product, however. Carlo Loderer said; “In addition to the high level of user-friendliness for employees, companies also benefit from significantly optimized processes thanks to a digitalized, networked system. This allows our customers to make cost savings in an area that was previously almost entirely excluded from innovation.”
