Top 100 Swiss Startup Award 2018: Public Voting is now open

Every year over 100.000 young companies, qualify for the Top 100 Swiss startup Award. The 100 most innovative and promising Swiss startups are picked by 100 startup experts from all over Switzerland. The selection for the next cohort is underway and the winners of the award will be announced in September.

While the Top 100 startups are selected experts, the public has the opportunity to vote for their favourite startup.  Anybody can cast their vote in the public voting by clicking on the golden logo “vote now” on the profile of the startup of their choice. This is the second time Venturelab opens the vote to the public. Eligible to receive votes are startups that have been incorporated after January 1st 2013 and are registered on the startup.ch platform.

“The public Voting is separate from the expert voting. In the public Voting it is the voice of the crowd. Last year Papayapod could mobilize the most however, it was a close race between them and TestingTime”, says Stefan Steiner, from Venturelab and organizer of the Top 100 Award.

Startups on the platform are also invited to mobilize for votes through their social media channels. The winner of the public Voting will be on stage at the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award ceremony and will be featured in the Top 100 magazine.
