With just over 100 in attendance, the first Swiss Failcon was a success. The videos of the talks and the panel discussions are now online. Also included are the slides by each speaker.

Several entrepreneurs broke a taboo at the first Swiss Failcon in April and spoke about their failures and about what they learned from it. Additional talks and panel discussions provided background information and important advice for founders.

Speakers of the conference included entrepreneurs and experts from Switzerland and from abroad such as

  • Michael Wolfe, a serial entrepreneur who has been a founder, founding employee, or executive at four startups
  • Dania Gerhardt, co-founder of Amazee / Amazeelabs
  • Dorian Selz, a serial entrepreneur and currently building the third startup Squirro.com
  • Sandrine Szabo, creator of a job-board, a community and a digital agency
  • Liam Bogar, co-founder of Rude Baguette – France’s Startup Blog
  • Deep Parekh, a serial entrepreneur and founder of a boutique management consulting firm named as one of the fastest growing companies in America by Inc. magazine.
  • Marcus Kuhn, founder of connex.io
  • William Kanaan, New Business Development Manager for EMEA at Google

The speakers spoke about different aspects of failure and what they learned from it. The videos give the chance to benefit from these experiences.
