Beyond Gravity, the former RUAG Space, and SpaceFounders, the go-to start-up program of the French space agency CNES, the University of the German Armed Forces and the Italian space agency ASI, will cooperate more closely in the future and seek an intensive exchange in their two start-up programs. Both companies offer well-established, tailored start-up programs for young companies from the space environment.

Beyond Gravity and SpaceFounders have signed a cooperation agreement that strengthens the connection and active exchange within the individual modules of the two programs. Furthermore, the two organizations will also cooperate intensively in the evaluation and selection of the start-ups. The close exchange with leading industrial companies from the space sector will also bring practical advantages to young companies – be it in development, testing or market access.

Both SpaceFounders and Beyond Gravity offer multi-week training programs for young, innovative start-ups. These programs provide exclusive contacts in the international space environment, access to highly specialized engineers, and the use of exclusive technologies and diverse production resources.

On 1 May, RUAG Space was legally renamed Beyond Gravity. Approximately 1600 employees at 12 locations in six countries (Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Germany, USA and Finland) develop and manufacture products for satellites and launch vehicles. Beyond Gravity is the preferred supplier of structures for all types of launch vehicles and a leader in selected satellite products and constellations in the New Space sector. The company is headquartered in Zurich.

Lukas Gnilka, manager of Launchpad's start-up program at Beyond Gravity, is very pleased: "This cooperation is a significant network expansion for both programs. As a member of the SpaceFounders jury, I can also contribute my know-how and actively participate in the search and selection of innovative companies, which can also be exciting for collaboration with Beyond Gravity."

Lucie Campagnolo, CEO of SpaceFounders, states: "SpaceFounders is dedicated to fostering and advancing the European space-tech ecosystem. Collaboration lies at the heart of our values and principles. By joining forces with Beyond Gravity, we enhance our value proposition by incorporating their complementary industry partner expertise alongside our existing network, expertise, exclusive mentoring pool, and stellar program."
