Based in Basel, Maglab is a specialist in magnetic system design and current measurement solutions. Since launching, it has built a global network of automotive and industrial customers including Tesla, Bosch and Renault. The company’s journey continues under the family of CTS Corporation.

Founded in 2011, Maglab has grown to become the leading system designer and critical supplier of current measurement solutions. The company offers magnetic position sensors, IoT solutions and current measurements to support customers with standard and custom designs, from the engineering phase to manufacturing. Applications for its products range from e-mobility, robotics, energy efficiency to renewable energy.

Some of the world’s leading companies including General Motors, Renault, Tesla, Hyundai Mobis, Bosch, Delphi, Magna, Delta, and TE Connectivity are part of Maglab’s customer network. The company has also established partnerships with global players such as Valeo-Siemens, Panasonic, Xiamen, Lear and more.

As of this month, Maglab will operate under the leadership of CTS Corporation, a leading designer and manufacturer of products that Sense, Connect, and Move. It operates in North America, Europe, and Asia, and provides engineered products to customers in the aerospace/defence, industrial, medical, and transportation markets.

Transaction details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
