Limmex Emergency Watch wins legendary Franch innovation award

In 2012 the French innovation award Concours Lépine took place for the 111th time. Thanks to its revolutionary emergency call technology also the Limmex Emergency Watch has been honoured.

The French innovation award Concours Lépine which was brought into being in 1901. The list of innovations that were honoured throughout all these years is long: the steam iron, the dishwasher, contact lenses, etc. objects which are an integral part of our daily lives. Thanks to its revolutionary emergency call technology also the Limmex Emergency Watch has been honoured in 2012. CEO Pascal Koenig received the medal of the Préfecture de Paris et d’Ile de France with greatest pleasure: «This international award for our emergency watch confirms that we are on the right track and that we can help persons to achieve more safety in their daily lives.»

The emergency watch of Limmex enables the wearer to request assistance at the push of a button, and to speak with pre-selected persons (e.g. family members, call center, physician).

Limmex AG is managed by an experienced team backed by renowned investors such as the fourth largest Swiss bank, Zürcher Kantonalbank ZKB, and Andy Rihs, founder and former CEO of Phonak. The company was awarded with the CTI start-up label in 2009.
