Lift14 will take place from 5 February to 7 February in Geneva. Daily ticket registration is now open and the organizers started to publish news about speakers and workshops.

For the ninth consecutive year, Lift attracts high-level speakers, exceptional thinkers and innovation pioneers to explore the current trends in technology. At the last conference over a thousand participants from 30 countries met. The conference focusses around anticipating the future and turning innovation into opportunities. Going a step beyond the traditional conferences that feature prestigious speakers, an intense program rolls out interactive workshops, evening events, exhibitions and challenges for start-ups.

Daily ticket registration for the event is now open. But start-ups should also watch out for discounted tickets that, as experience has shown, will be available from various sources. In addition we recommend to follow Lift on Twitter and to subscribe to the newsletter to receive up-to-date information directly from the organizers.

Recently the Lift team published the workshop program that was compiled upon request of the participants. Workshops include topics such as: “Design Ethnography beyond User-Centered Design” with Nicolas Nova Principal at Near Future Laboratory and Professor at HEAD Geneva, “Privacy & Data Protection conversations : how might we reinstate trust in a global digital society?”, “Money, Money, Money: Fuel for start-ups”, “Alpine Futures” with Hannes Gassert, Co-founder Liip and Skim.com, and “Everyone can innovate to save the media industry“.

Regarding the speakers Lift announced recently that Fabio Gramazio will talk at the next conference. Gramazio is famous for his spectacular showcase of flight assembled architecture -complex bricklaying with a swarm of autonomous quadcopters. Holding the Professorship for Architecture and Digital Fabrication at ETH Zurich and the Singapore Future Cities Laboratory, Gramazio has built a unique laboratory to investigate how robotics and digital crafting will change architecture as much and as profoundly as the computer did.
