The Best of CTIS Award held was bestowed upon three out of the five Swiss startups participating physically at the swisstech pavilion as part of China’s leading Consumer Technology & Innovation Show (CTIS). Fixposition, holo|one and STOR-H received the prize for their innovative AR and Green Technology breakthroughs, respectively.
A major highlight of the inaugurated Consumer Technology & Innovation Show (CTIS) from June 9 - 11, 2021 in Shanghai, China is the Best of CTIS Innovation Awards, which honours ground-breaking products, services, and technologies that define the future of consumer technology industry. ZOL, China’s leading information technology portal, selected the final winners based on its in-depth industry observation throughout the year. A total of 16 award categories highlight products standing out in design, technology and feature innovation, and application prospect.
The five Swiss startups, which are physically present at the event as part of the swisstech Pavilion at CTIS, had the opportunity to attend the competition. Three of them received accolades for their achievements at the Best of CTIS Innovation Awards ceremony.
Fixposition AG – CTIS Best of Innovation Award
Fixposition is a Zurich-based Autonomous Navigation startup and an ETH Zurich spinoff that provides high-precision positioning in a multitude of challenging environments, be it urban canyons, underpasses, under tree canopies. Fixposition’s combination of RTK GNSS and Computer Vision boosts the reliability of autonomous systems, while also facilitating the development of completely new robotic applications and services.
holo|one AG – CTIS Best of AR Award
Lenzburg-based holo|one AG is an AR & MR startup and a University of Zurich spin-off that develops “sphere” – the award-winning, standardized Mixed Reality (MR) platform solution for enterprises. It is an out-of-the-box solution for easy integration of MR into business processes that cover all common MR use cases for use across several different industries, namely Remote Assistance, Digital Collaboration, Workflow Support and Life-Size Overlays.
STOR-H Technologies SA – CTIS Best of Green Technology Award
Geneva-based STOR-H Technologies SA is a spin-off of AAQIUS, integrating all its hydrogen storage-related assets. They are a service provider for light urban mobility. Their service is an ecosystem of solutions based on green hydrogen-powered vehicles using STOR-H Solid State Storage standard cartridges.
