Over recent days, seasoned personalities with a track record of achievements have joined startups' management boards. Among them is Dennis Just, the serial entrepreneur behind Numbrs, Knip, and Ergo. Just is now the new CEO of Smallpdf.

A management-board composed of experienced and competent members supports a startup in reaching greater heights and achieving its objectives. The following startups have appointed new members to their management board. 

Smallpdf welcomes Dennis Just as CEO
Every month more than 25 million users use the tools of Smallpdf, making the platform one of the most widely used online PDF software in the world. To push the expansion and growth of Smallpdf, the startup has appointed Dennis Just to the position of CEO. Just is a serial entrepreneur who founded his first company (eSports) at the age of 16. He gained his first entrepreneurial experience in Switzerland as co-founder and COO of the multi banking app Numbrs in Zurich. He later founded the insurance app Knip (now known as Digital Insurance Group) where he continues to be a shareholder. For two years, Dennis Just has been responsible for the entire online business of the ERGO Group. As a young entrepreneur, he was awarded in 2018 by Forbes with the title "30 under 30".

"With Dennis Just, we have found just the right CEO to meet the challenges ahead. He has a great deal of experience in launching new products and making them market leaders, " says Stofer. Dennis Just has already proven this twice. So he founded the banking app "Numbrs" as well as the insurance app "Knip" and scaled these startups to more than 100 employees. He currently manages the direct and online sales of ERGO Versicherung.

Nexthink appoints Jürgen Rohr to Area Vice president Germany
Nexthink, the market leader for digital employee experience Software, appointed Jürgen Rohr to the position of Area Vice President for Germany. In this position, Rohr manages the German branch and has overall responsibility for sales, including sales and pre-sales activities, the expansion of existing sales channels, as well as marketing and services. He is also responsible for strengthening the Nexthink brand in the German market as well as the stringent expansion of the partner network.

Jürgen Rohr has been working in management positions in the IT industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Nexthink, he was Regional Vice President, Multi-Cloud Data Management for Veritas Technologies, where he led the company's growth in Central Europe. Other posts in his career included senior positions at Commvault Systems, Fluke Networks, SAS Institute and Parametric Technology. "The focus of Jürgen Rohr's position on the German business shows how important this market is for Nexthink in particular, and we are pleased to have found such an experienced and successful manager for this strategic task," said Kevin Tumulty, Chief Revenue Officer at Nexthink.
