During a celebratory dinner the results of the fourth edition of the International Create Challenge, accelerator program organized by the Idiap Research Institute, were announced. Three prize winner were selected.
The International Create Challenge is a free of charge, 3-week immersive super accelerator program that gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to drive their projects to a Minimum Viable Product. It is a program combining state-of-art technologies and cutting edge research, mentors-lead coaching, micro-seed investment and a prize.
The prize winners of ICC 2015 are:
Eyeware develops machine vision solutions for use in healthcare, research and robotics, by leveraging their patented eye-gaze tracking technology. The team had already won the first prize at the Arkathon Health Hacking Valais. A portrait of the project and the plans of the team can be found on the website of The Ark.
Dialexy develops machine learning algorithms to improve and automate the translation process, and achieve superior translation quality.
App4 Autism is aiming to establish a modern instrument for therapy and education and facilitate communication between autistic children and their families and educators.
